An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.1 occurred in the morning in the Simav district of Kütahya province in Turkey, reports BAKU.WS.

According to Turkey's Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), the tremors were recorded at a depth of 10.4 kilometers.

Specialists note that aftershocks may be observed in the region in the near future.
