A strong earthquake occurred in Turkey: ten buildings collapsed, people are trapped under the rubble

Four people were rescued from under the rubble of one of the houses that collapsed due to an earthquake in western Turkey, according to the country's Ministry of Internal Affairs.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Turkish media, ten buildings collapsed in Balıkesir province as a result of the natural disaster.
"Ten buildings have been destroyed in our region. Six people were living in the collapsed structures. We have already rescued four of them, and we continue to work on rescuing the remaining two," said Serkan Sak, the head of Sındırgı municipality.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a statement on his social media page regarding the earthquake in Balıkesir. He emphasized that all relevant departments have been mobilized and are taking necessary measures to deal with the consequences of the natural disaster.
According to the country's Minister of Health, four people injured in the earthquake in Balıkesir province have been hospitalized, but there is no threat to their lives.
