A powerful earthquake has occurred in another country

A magnitude 6.2 earthquake was recorded in the Antofagasta region in northern Chile.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this was announced by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center.

According to available data, the earthquake's epicenter was located 140 km northeast of the city of Antofagasta, where about 309,000 people live. The focus was at a depth of 93 km.

At the moment, no information about casualties or destruction has been received.
