WhatsApp will have a new function

The WhatsApp messenger is testing a new feature that will allow users to set reminders for specific messages. This innovation is designed to help those who often read messages, postpone replying, and eventually forget about them. This information was discovered by the WABetaInfo (WBI) portal in the latest beta version of the application for Android.
According to the data, to set a reminder, you will need to long-press on a message, after which the "Remind me" option will appear in the menu. Users will be able to choose one of the preset time intervals - 2, 8, or 24 hours - or set their own time.
After setting, a small bell icon will appear in the corner of the message, which will visually highlight it in the conversation. When the set time expires, WhatsApp will send the user a notification marked "Reminder," containing the text of the original message and information about the chat.
In addition, WABetaInfo reports that the messenger is testing another useful feature. It will periodically send notifications about unread messages from contacts with whom the user communicates most frequently. This will help not to miss important dialogues in the flow of numerous conversations.
