Scientists made a disturbing statement about the World Ocean for humanity

A group of environmentalists decided to conduct a large-scale study to determine the possible level of water rise in the World Ocean in the long term. For this purpose, scientists surveyed more than 100 specialists, each of whom had published at least six scientific papers on climate change and sea level.
As reported by TechInsider, the key focus of the research was the impact of various levels of carbon dioxide emissions on water level rise. It turned out that many experts assess the situation much more alarmingly than official structures, such as the UN climate specialist group.
According to the most unfavorable scenario, the ocean level may rise by 1.3 meters by the end of the 21st century - more than the UN predicts. And by 2300, this figure could reach five meters, which carries serious consequences for coastal territories around the world.
