Scientists compiled a list of products causing oncology
American scientists have confirmed a direct link between eating habits and the risk of developing cancer, according to a study published in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the scientific study data, regular consumption of highly processed foods combined with a deficit of plant-based foods significantly increases the likelihood of cancer. Analysis of adults' diets showed that the most dangerous eating patterns are those dominated by red meat and meat semi-finished products, sweet carbonated drinks and products with preservatives, as well as insufficient consumption of fiber and antioxidants contained in vegetables and fruits.
Experts emphasize that the key role is played not by an individual product, but by a person's overall lifestyle. Specialists identify the most effective prevention of oncological diseases as a combination of balanced nutrition, regular physical activity, and maintaining normal body weight.
Dietitians also advise that after periods of overindulgence in unhealthy food, one should gradually return to a healthy diet: increase the proportion of beneficial products, monitor water balance, and add moderate physical exercise. This approach helps the body recover without additional stress and maintain the necessary energy level.
