Media reported on a longevity laboratory in China
In China, there is a laboratory called Lonvi Biosciences focused on developing technologies aimed at increasing life expectancy. This was reported by The New York Times (NYT).
Lonvi Biosciences is a startup specializing in longevity medicine. This laboratory is located in the city of Shenzhen, situated in the southern part of China. The company has created innovative pills that slow down the aging process. They are based on a compound derived from grape seed extract.
The company's developments are based on scientific research published by a group of scientists from Shanghai. During these studies, it was established that procyanidin C1 (PCC1), extracted from grape seeds, can increase the lifespan of mice by 9.4%, and also significantly extends their life - by 64.2% - after the start of application.
"Reaching the age of 150 years is an absolutely achievable goal. And in just a few years, this will become a reality," said Liu Qinghua, the company's technical director.
