Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) attacked an unmanned U.S. Navy boat in the Strait of Hormuz.

The IRGC reported this on its Telegram channel.

"The naval forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps attacked a boat belonging to the American army that intended to enter the protected zone of the Strait of Hormuz," the statement said.

The IRGC emphasized that Hormuz is under the unit's control.

"Every action by the enemy will be met with a decisive response. The United States must know that it has no choice but to leave the region," the statement said.

It should be recalled that the United States Central Command (CENTCOM) attacked three Iranian tankers and linked this to an IRGC attempt to strike American ships in the region. In response, the IRGC announced attacks on three American ships and three oil tankers traveling along unauthorized routes in the Strait of Hormuz.
