Wind will intensify in some regions of Azerbaijan - WARNING

Due to windy weather expected from September 7 through the morning of September 8 in Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula, as well as in some regions of Azerbaijan, yellow and orange warnings have been issued.

This was reported by Oxu.Az with reference to the National Hydrometeorological Service of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.

In Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula, as well as in Agstafa, Gazakh, Tovuz, Shamkir, Samukh, Ganja, Dashkasan, Goranboy, Naftalan, Mingachevir, Yevlakh, Barda, Tartar, Aghdam, Balakan, Zagatala, Gakh, Shaki, Oguz, Gabala, Goychay, Ujar, Gusar, Khachmaz, Shabran, Siyazan, Khizi, Gobustan, Hajigabul, and Neftchala, in accordance with the orange warning, gusts of northwesterly wind may reach 20.8–28.4 m/s.

In Gadabay, Goygol, Sharur, Sadarak, Guba, Salyan, Shirvan, Sabirabad, Saatli, Jabrayil, Zangilan, Kalbajar, Lachin, Fuzuli, Beylagan, Imishli, Kurdamir, Agsu, Shamakhi, Ismayilli, Zardab, Agdash, Aghjabadi, and Khojavand, in accordance with the yellow warning, the maximum speed of northwesterly wind will be 13.9–20.7 m/s.
