The director of the Guba Olympic Sports Complex was arrested for embezzling half a million manats

The director of the Guba Olympic Sports Complex has been arrested.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Report, during an investigation conducted by the Main Anti-Corruption Department under the Prosecutor General, illegal actions were uncovered by the director of the Guba sports, health, training, and educational complex of Azəridmanservis LLC, Rashid Orujov, and accountant Vidadi Shirinov.

Both are suspected of embezzlement of funds and official misconduct. It is noted that the damages in the case exceed half a million manats.

The Binagadi District Court has imposed a preventive measure in the form of arrest against Rashid Orujov and Vidadi Shirinov.
