Argentine racer dies during training

Argentine racer Claudio Segarra died as a result of an accident during training.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this was announced by the press service of the Turismo Pista San Luis team.

The athlete lost control of the car, after which the vehicle overturned and crashed into a wall. The racer was hospitalized and died several hours later due to serious injuries. Police have launched an investigation.

"It is with deep regret that we must inform you that pilot Claudio Segarra has passed away after an incident during training. Our thoughts are with his family and friends. We will remember Claudio as a great motorsport enthusiast," said the team's press service statement posted on social media.
