Two more doctors from the Republican Endocrinology Center have been involved in the investigation

The investigation of a criminal case initiated by the Anti-Corruption Department under the Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan in connection with illegal actions committed at the Republican Endocrinology Center continues.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Trend, two more employees of the center - endocrinologists Nushaba Huseynova and Narmin Farzieva - have been involved in the investigation. They have given testimony in the ongoing criminal case.
Recall that the Main Anti-Corruption Department under the Prosecutor General conducted operational search activities based on information received about illegal actions by officials of the Republican Endocrinology Center.
There were reasonable suspicions that officials of the specified center, using their real influence capabilities, illegally influenced the decisions of other officials, received money in various amounts from different people to register citizens suffering from diabetes, provide them with various medications and for other similar purposes, abusing their official powers.
Based on the collected primary evidence, a criminal case has been initiated under Articles 308.1 (abuse of official powers) and 312-1.1 (illegal influence on an official's decision (influence peddling) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.
Currently, necessary measures continue to identify and bring to justice those responsible for committing criminal acts.
Note that among those involved in the investigation are the center's director Narmin Ismayilova, deputy director for administrative issues Vafa Kerimova, chief physician Ulviya Akhmedova, and other individuals.
