Tomorrow will be the second and last lunar eclipse of this year

On September 7, 2025, the second and last lunar eclipse of the year will occur.
As Report informs, on this day, Earth's inhabitants will be able to observe a total lunar eclipse, which is often called a "Blood Moon".
A total lunar eclipse occurs when the Sun, Earth, and Moon align in a straight line, and Earth's shadow completely covers the lunar surface.
At this moment, the Moon doesn't completely disappear but takes on a reddish hue. This happens due to the refraction and scattering of sunlight in Earth's atmosphere, allowing red and orange rays to reach the lunar surface. The blood-red color looks particularly dramatic when the Moon is near the horizon. In this case, the effect is enhanced by a double impact: both the sunlight passing through Earth's atmosphere colors the Moon red, and the Moon itself already has a reddish tint when near the horizon.
In fact, Earth's shadow consists of two parts: the penumbra and the umbra. When the Moon enters the penumbra, a penumbral lunar eclipse begins, which is difficult to notice with the naked eye. When the Moon enters Earth's umbra, the eclipse becomes visible to the naked eye.
The penumbral lunar eclipse will begin at 19:28:21, the partial eclipse at 20:27:02, and the total eclipse at 21:30:41. The maximum phase of the eclipse will occur at 22:11:47. The total eclipse will end at 22:52:47, the partial eclipse at 23:56:26, and the penumbral lunar eclipse will end at 00:55:00. The duration of the total eclipse will be 82 minutes.
The second total lunar eclipse of 2025 will be visible in Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia. In Azerbaijan, the total lunar eclipse can be observed from the evening hours until midnight.
