Samir Babayev, who worked in the USA for over 20 years, appointed to a high position in Karabakh

Samir Namig oglu Babayev has been appointed as General Director of Karabakh University Clinic.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the university's press service, the corresponding order was signed by Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev.

Samir Babayev received his medical education at Azerbaijan Medical University in 2001-2003 and at Istanbul University in Turkey in 2003-2007. From 2009 to 2013, he continued his residency program at New York Medical College in the USA, and from 2013 to 2016, he completed an advanced training program at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.

For almost 20 years, S.Babayev held leadership positions at New York Medical College, University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, and Mayo Clinic located in Minnesota.

He is the author of numerous scientific works, a member and leader of several prestigious medical associations, and has been awarded various scholarships and honorary awards.
