The world has been stirred by news about the possible creation of a universal vaccine capable of protecting against all types of cancer. According to foreign research published in scientific journals and picked up by leading media outlets, scientists are close to offering a revolutionary method for preventing oncological diseases.

As reported by Gazeta.Ru, the new developments are based on mRNA technology - the same platform that was used in creating COVID-19 vaccines. Researchers are modifying mRNA so that it "trains" the immune system to find and destroy cancer cells, even before the disease begins to actively develop. This makes the approach potentially universal for different forms of malignant tumors.

Currently, several companies, including BioNTech and Moderna, are already conducting clinical trials of vaccines on humans. The results of the first phases show encouraging data: the immune system of participants is indeed activated against tumor cells.

However, as experts emphasize, it's too early to talk about the complete readiness of the vaccine. Additional research and time are needed to verify long-term effectiveness and safety.

According to the most optimistic forecasts, the vaccine may become available for widespread use by the end of the decade. Initially, it will be used not for mass prevention, but as part of therapy for patients with a high risk of developing cancer or those already undergoing treatment.
