The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) in the Ternopil region has declared Russian singer and People's Artist of Russia Grigory Leps wanted. The corresponding information is posted on the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Rbc.ru, the "date of disappearance" column states March 4, 2025. The singer is accused under Part 3 of Article 110-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - financing actions aimed at overthrowing the constitutional order of Ukraine. The maximum punishment under this article is eight years.

Detention was chosen as a preventive measure for Leps.

In early March, the SBU opened a criminal case against the Russian singer on several charges, including financing actions aimed at overthrowing the constitutional order of the country. The singer is also accused of justifying and recognizing as legitimate the actions of the Russian Armed Forces against Ukraine.

In June 2023, speaking at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Leps promised to pay 1 million rubles to anyone who disables Western tanks in service with the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
