Eurovision 2024 participant found guilty of harassment

French singer Slimane, who represented France at Eurovision 2024, found guilty of sexual harassment.

A year ago, a former employee of his technical team filed a complaint with the Saint-Étienne prosecutor's office. According to the man, in 2023, after one of the concerts, he became a victim of harassment by the artist. Slimane threw a party to celebrate the completion of the first stage of the tour and invited the technician. At the party, the singer allegedly pushed him against the wall and "forced intimacy," trying to drag him into the dressing room.

The investigation lasted for a considerable time, and only recently did a French court issue a ruling. According to Le Parisien, Slimane was found guilty of persistent attempts to achieve intimate relations and sending messages of a sexual nature. The case is closed, and the artist was fined 10,000 euros.
