Zakir Hasanov met with Haluk Görgün

On September 30, Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan Colonel General Zakir Hasanov met with Haluk Görgün, Chairman of the Defense Industry Committee of the Presidential Administration of Turkey, who is on an official visit to our country to participate in the 6th Azerbaijan International Defense Industry Exhibition ADEX-2026, being held at the Baku Expo Center.

According to the Ministry of Defense, during the meeting it was emphasized that cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey in the military and military-technical spheres is developing successfully, and that strategic alliance and defense cooperation contribute to ensuring regional security, sustainable peace, and stability.

Zakir Hasanov and Haluk Görgün discussed the current state and prospects for the development of joint projects in the defense sphere, and also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.

Haluk Görgün expressed satisfaction with the positive dynamics of the development of relations with brotherly Azerbaijan in the military and military-technical spheres.

As part of the international exhibition, the stands of Turkish defense industry companies ASELSAN, Baykar, Roketsan, and TUSAŞ were visited, where the Azerbaijani delegation was provided with detailed information about the displayed samples of weapons, military equipment, aviation, and aircraft.
