As reported by BAKU.WS, Leyla Aliyeva first visited the National Museum of Oman.
The Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation toured various parts of the museum, familiarized herself with the exhibits and was provided with detailed information about their history.
This museum is one of the main centers reflecting the historical and cultural heritage of Oman.
Officially launched in 2016, the museum displays rich collections related to archaeology, maritime research, weaponry, ethnography, Islamic culture, etc. It has 14 permanent galleries, each dedicated to different aspects of Oman's cultural heritage, as well as additional areas for temporary exhibitions.
The museum, which houses more than 7,000 exhibits, features digital immersive simulators, a cinema, and educational areas for children. It was the first in the Middle East to present the Arabic Braille alphabet for the visually impaired.
The National Museum of Oman, whose architectural design reflects the fusion of national traditions and modern style, plays an important role as an educational platform for both locals and foreign tourists.
After touring the museum, Leyla Aliyeva was presented with a gift, and a commemorative photo was taken.

It should be noted that this is one of the oldest and most famous markets in the Arab world. The history of this market spans several centuries, and it has been a trading center for goods coming to the port of Muscat from India, China, European countries, and the Middle East.
Mutrah Market is distinguished by its narrow covered streets and Arabic architecture.
The market sells traditional textile products, clothing, jewelry, souvenirs, spices, incense, including Omani incense, perfumes and handmade items, as well as fruits, vegetables, medicinal herbs, and other local products.
