Saudi Arabia has recalled its consul in Abu Dhabi, Abdullah bin Mansour, as well as several Saudi businessmen from the UAE.

As BAKU.WS reports with reference to foreign media, relations between Saudi Arabia and the UAE are rapidly deteriorating, although they are still far from mutual airstrikes on Dubai and Riyadh. At the same time, both sides continue to actively purchase American and Chinese weapons, and it is not excluded that these weapons might be used against each other without intermediaries in the future.

Today, Aden, controlled by the Southern Transitional Council (under the patronage of the UAE), refused to allow a Saudi delegation to land at Aden International Airport. Subsequently, Saudi warships were deployed in the Arabian Sea and the Gulf of Aden south of Yemen.

In addition, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held telephone talks with his counterparts from Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. During the negotiations, the latest situation in Yemen and current processes in the country were discussed.
