Xinhua: President of Azerbaijan highly appreciates comprehensive strategic partnership with China

The English-language service of the Chinese news agency "Xinhua" published a piece based on the interview of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev with local TV channels.

The article titled "The President of Azerbaijan highly appreciated the comprehensive strategic partnership with China" states:

"The establishment of a comprehensive strategic partnership in 2025 significantly strengthened economic ties with China, giving a powerful impetus to expanding contacts between business and government structures.

The head of state also emphasized that Chinese companies are actively participating in the construction of solar and wind power plants in Azerbaijan. He added that the implementation of a project for assembling electric buses with the participation of Chinese automakers has already begun.

Ilham Aliyev noted: "When we made the decision to develop not only green energy but also green transport, the question of choosing a strategic partner was on the agenda, and we chose Chinese companies. This choice was also the result of the agreements I have already mentioned and, of course, the professionalism, quality and speed of project implementation confirmed its correctness".
