UN-Habitat called WUF an indispensable platform for sharing experience
International platforms such as the World Urban Forum (WUF) remain indispensable for exchanging experience and finding practical solutions in the field of urban development.
As Report informs, this was stated by the Minister of Housing and Local Government of Malaysia, the current President of the UN-Habitat Assembly, Nga Kor Ming, at a press conference dedicated to the opening of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku.
"I am convinced that platforms such as the WUF remain indispensable, as they allow governments and stakeholders to learn from each other and find practical solutions that can be adapted to various national and local contexts," he stated.
Nga Kor Ming also expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan for organizing a forum of such a grand scale.
"In this regard, I would like to express gratitude on behalf of UN-Habitat to Azerbaijan for creating such a large-scale platform," the minister emphasized.
