Pakistan's Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev for support in opening the first "ASAN xidmət" center in Pakistan.

As BAKU.WS reports with reference to Pakistani media, Sharif stated this today at the opening ceremony of the Center in Islamabad.

He emphasized that the implementation of the "ASAN xidmət" initiative in Pakistan would have been impossible without cooperation and methodological support from Azerbaijan.

The head of government called "ASAN xidmət" a key step toward citizen-oriented governance, improving the quality of public services, and simplifying business operations.

According to him, the center brings together a number of government structures under one roof, including the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, police, the Federal Tax Authority, and other departments, which allows services to be provided efficiently, transparently, and in a format convenient for citizens.

Sharif noted that employees of the Pakistani center underwent specialized training in Azerbaijan under the guidance of experienced instructors, adding that courtesy, professionalism, and friendliness should become the standard for public service.

The Prime Minister also recalled that during his visit to the "ASAN xidmət" center in Baku, he was impressed by the high efficiency and promptness of government agencies' work, after which he ordered the implementation of a similar model in Pakistan.

He also announced his directive to create similar centers in two more regions of the country, adding that in the future, with Azerbaijan's support, this system will be spread throughout Pakistan.
