Ramiz Mehdiyev excluded from the Security Council

Ramiz Enver oglu Mehtiyev has been expelled from the Security Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

As BAKU.WS reports with reference to APA, the corresponding decree was signed by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

Note that Ramiz Mehtiyev was included in the Security Council by decree of the President of Azerbaijan dated October 23, 2019.

Currently, Ramiz Mehtiyev is accused under Articles 278.1 (actions aimed at seizing state power), 274 (treason) and 193-1.3.2 (legalization of property acquired by criminal means) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.

The Sabail District Court of Baku on October 14 of this year issued a decision on the criminal case against Ramiz Enver oglu Mehtiyev.

According to the court's decision, the judicial body chose a preventive measure against him in the form of house arrest for a period of 4 months.
