President: France's policy regarding overseas territories has been a source of suffering for many years

For many years, France's overseas territories have suffered from its colonial and imperialist policies. Nuclear tests have even been conducted there. In Polynesia, more than 200 nuclear tests may have been carried out.

As reported by AZERTAC, President Ilham Aliyev stated this at the opening of the IV Shusha Global Media Forum.

"Today, hundreds of people are suffering from this. Today, the 'Baku Initiative Group' is being unfairly accused of some kind of hybrid war. I believe that in this regard, independent media fulfill a very important mission," the head of state added.
