Positions of the Azerbaijani army came under fire

On May 10, at 09:55, units of the Armenian armed forces from positions located in the direction of the Chambarak district fired small arms at positions of the Azerbaijani army.

This was reported by the Media and Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.

In addition, the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, by disseminating information about alleged fire opened by Azerbaijani army units in the direction of the settlement of Khanazakh and damage to a residential house, is trying to form a false opinion among the international community and prepare the ground for another provocation. This statement does not correspond to reality and is disinformation in nature.

We declare that units of the Azerbaijani army never open fire on civilians and civilian objects.

The Azerbaijani army units only took adequate response measures in the indicated direction.
