Mahmoud Abbas congratulated Ilham Aliyev

The President of the State of Palestine, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization Mahmoud Abbas sent a congratulatory letter to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to AZERTAJ, the message states:

"Dear Mr. President.

I am pleased to convey to Your Excellency and through you to the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the brotherly people of Azerbaijan heartfelt congratulations on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of Victory Day, as well as State Flag Day.

I wish you good health, happiness and success, and to Azerbaijan, your government and people - even greater progress and prosperity. I express confidence that our bilateral relations based on the principles of friendship, brotherhood and mutual respect, which we are proud of, will continue to develop and strengthen.

Your Excellency, my respected brother, please accept my best wishes".
