Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva visited the family of a martyr in Lankaran

Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of the IDEA Public Association Leyla Aliyeva and head of the Baku Media Center Arzu Aliyeva visited the family of martyr Ulfat Babazade during their trip to Lankaran.

Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva paid deep respect to the memory of Patriotic War martyr Ulfat Babazade, inquired about the life and combat journey of our hero, as well as the concerns and needs of the family.

It should be noted that Ulfat Gabil oglu Babazade was born in the village of Dashtatyuk, Lankaran district. During the Patriotic War, he participated in battles for the liberation of our lands from occupation as part of the Special Forces. Ulfat Babazade showed bravery in battles on the Khojavend, Kalbajar, and Shusha fronts. On November 8, 2020, during the battles for Shusha, he rose to the pinnacle of martyrdom.

By decrees of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, he was awarded the Order of the "Azerbaijan Flag" and the medals "For the Motherland," "Brave Fighter," "For the Liberation of the City of Shusha," "For the Liberation of Khojavend," and "For the Liberation of Kalbajar."
