Embassy: US-Azerbaijan Strategic Partnership Charter Will Further Strengthen Relations Between Two Countries
Today, U.S. Vice President JD Vance and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev held a meeting in Baku, during which they discussed the implementation of the historic Peace Summit held on August 8 at the White House, and reaffirmed shared commitments to peace, security, and prosperity in the region.
This was stated in a publication by the U.S. Embassy in Azerbaijan on the social network X.
"During the meeting, the leaders signed the U.S.-Azerbaijan Strategic Partnership Charter. This document will contribute to further strengthening relations between the two countries. The United States is committed to continuing close cooperation with Azerbaijan toward realizing the great potential of the South Caucasus region," the publication states.
