The publishing house "Azerbaijan" is closing for renovation
The reason for closing the "Azerbaijan" publishing house for renovation has been announced.
As BAKU.WS reports, the LLC made a statement to Report regarding this issue.
It was noted that the Azerbaijan Research Institute of Construction and Architecture conducted a visual and technical inspection of the 9-story building.
As a result of the inspection, defects and damages were found in the main load-bearing structures, water supply, sewage, and electrical networks, which occurred because no major repairs had been carried out on the building during the long period of the publishing house's operation.
In addition, the technical condition of the elevators in the publishing house is unsatisfactory. The current technical situation requires a complete renovation of the building.
"The very large scope of these works makes it practically impossible to perform them in stages, as well as to continue operating the building. Taking into account the above, a decision was made to suspend the operation of the building from February 1," the statement emphasized.
It should be noted that the process of relocating the publishing house has already begun.
