The medal of National Hero Panjali Teymourov has been handed over to his family

The medal of the National Hero of Azerbaijan, martyr of the April battles Panjali Teymurov, has been presented to his family.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to APA, the award ceremony was held at the Ministry of Defense.

The ceremony was attended by Minister of Defense Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, deputy ministers, military personnel, and the mother and brother of the National Hero.

It was noted that P. Teymurov holds a special place in the history of the Azerbaijani Army due to the courage and heroism he demonstrated in the name of the Motherland, and his memory is always honored with great respect.

Family members expressed gratitude for the high attention paid to the memory of the martyr and the state's care.

It was emphasized that the April battles are one of the glorious pages of Azerbaijan's military history, and the selfless dedication of heroes such as P. Teymurov serves as an example for future generations.

It should be recalled that in accordance with the decree of President Ilham Aliyev dated November 7 of last year, warrant officer Panjali Nurmamed oglu Teymurov was posthumously awarded the title of National Hero of Azerbaijan.
