SOCAR delegation met with Italy's Minister of Economic Development

Italy's Minister of Economic Development Adolfo Urso stated that the investments of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in Italiana Petroli (IP) strengthen Italy's position as an industrial and energy platform.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Report, he wrote about this on the social network X.

According to the head of the Italian ministry, a meeting was held at the ministry between him and Azerbaijan's Deputy Minister of Economy Anar Akhundov and a SOCAR delegation led by the company's president Rovshan Najaf following the final approval of the investments in IP.

"These investments strengthen Italy's position as an industrial and energy platform," Adolfo Urso added.
