Road police launched a project to analyze traffic accidents using real-life examples
An educational project implemented by the Main Department of the State Traffic Police (MDSTP) aimed at explaining the causes of road traffic accidents (RTAs) has attracted wide public attention.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the press service of the MDSTP, the materials published within the framework of the project contain a detailed analysis of real accidents using specific examples with a thorough explanation of mistakes made by drivers and other road users.
The department added that the goal of the project is to clearly demonstrate the causes of RTAs and prevent the recurrence of similar incidents in the future.
It should be noted that in the first episode of the project, a female officer of the MDSTP spoke about an accident that occurred on the evening of March 11, 2026, on a section of the airport highway passing through the Sabunchu district of Baku.
The incident occurred as a result of a Hyundai vehicle (with state license plate number 77-RK-290) hitting two pedestrians who were crossing the road at a location not designated for that purpose. The victims were Taleh Musayev (born 1993) and Mirkamil Jafarov (born 2009). As a result of the RTA, Musayev sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene, while Jafarov was taken to the Sabunchu Medical Center.
