Named the number of ninth-graders in Azerbaijan who cannot read and write
An analysis of the results of the graduation exams for 9th graders for 2025 has shown that among the students there are schoolchildren who cannot read or write.
As reported by Bizim.Media, this is stated in the 12th issue of the State Examination Center's magazine "Abituriyent."
According to the data, among the ninth graders who took the exam, six students were identified who lack reading and writing skills.
"Given that most exam supervisors did not record such cases in their protocols, it can be assumed that the actual number of such students is higher. By districts, the number of ninth graders who cannot read or write was distributed as follows: one student each was identified in Ganja, as well as in the Balakan, Beylagan, Agsu, Zardab, and Surakhani districts," the report states.
