Leyla Aliyeva visited the Juma Mosque in the Masally district
Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of the IDEA Public Association Leyla Aliyeva made a trip to the Masally district.
During the visit, Leyla Aliyeva visited the Juma Mosque, one of the historical and religious-cultural landmarks of the Masally district, and became thoroughly acquainted with the history and architectural features of the mosque.
It is noted that the Juma Mosque, located in the center of the city of Masally, was built in 1846 with the financial support of the city's residents and local benefactors. During the years of independence, the mosque was restored and resumed functioning as a place of worship. In subsequent years, it underwent major renovation by the state and in 2001 was included in the list of immovable monuments of local historical and cultural significance.
In conclusion, Leyla Aliyeva was presented with a Holy Quran.
