Innovations are being introduced in the nutrition regime in state childcare institutions

In Azerbaijan, sanitary norms and rules will be developed for food formulas and complementary feeding for infants and young children.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Report, the purpose of the innovations is to promote a healthy lifestyle and healthy nutrition for children.

The development of the rules must be completed by the Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency (AFSA) by May of this year.

In addition, by the end of the year, AFSA and the Ministry of Health must jointly prepare menus for various age groups for children's institutions that receive state-funded meals.
