German Nutritionists Reveal Surprising Benefits of Daily Egg Consumption
German nutritionists have determined that consuming one egg per day can be a beneficial part of a diet - provided that the person does not have elevated cholesterol or serious cardiovascular diseases.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this information comes from the portal "t-online".
According to specialists, eggs are rich in easily digestible protein, vitamins A, B12, E and K, as well as minerals such as zinc and selenium. These substances strengthen the immune system, support vision, bone health and the nervous system, and also promote muscle mass formation.
It was previously believed that daily egg consumption raises cholesterol levels and could harm the heart. However, modern research shows that in healthy people, dietary cholesterol only partially affects blood levels - approximately 15–20 percent. The body produces the rest on its own.
