In one of Baku's preschool institutions - nursery-kindergarten No. 291 - a three-year-old child fell and received serious facial injuries.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Xəzər TV, the father of the victim, Eljan Idrisbeyili, claims that the teachers did not provide first aid to the child and did not call an ambulance.

"After the incident, they simply handed him over to his mother - covered in blood, with a lacerated face. When I arrived, my wife was standing with the child at the kindergarten gate, the child was bleeding profusely. We urgently took him to Semashko Hospital (the old name of the Clinical Medical Center - ed.). On the way, the kindergarten director called and, without even asking about the child's condition, said: 'Don't mention the name of our institution,'" the father recounted.

At the hospital, the child received two stitches on his face, but due to the dangerous location of the wound near the eye area, doctors were unable to place a stitch there.

"We asked the director to provide camera recordings, but she replied that the kindergarten is not equipped with a video surveillance system," added Eljan Idrisbeyili.

The kindergarten director, Sahiba khanum, stated that she learned about the incident belatedly and placed all responsibility on the teacher: "She did not inform me about what happened in a timely manner. I took an explanatory statement from her."

Meanwhile, the Baku City Education Department presented a completely different version of events. The official statement says that on September 30 around 11:00, one of the middle group students did fall and was injured. The child was given first medical aid on site, then parents were informed, and the mother took him to the hospital. The teacher received disciplinary action. According to a representative of the department, the child's condition is satisfactory.
