Ilham Aliyev participated in the opening of the Shusha State Vocational Education Center

On November 7, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev participated in the opening of the Shusha State Center for Vocational Education after major renovation.

As reported by BAKU.WS, Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev informed the head of state about the conditions created.

It was noted that the major renovation of the Shusha State Center for Vocational Education, commissioned by the ministry, began in March 2025.

The two-story educational building with a capacity of 360 seats includes 9 workshops, 3 training and production areas, a workshop for the manufacturing and restoration of musical instruments, 5 classrooms, a drawing room, physics and chemistry laboratories, a laboratory assistant room, computer science and military training classrooms, as well as a cafeteria.

The five-story dormitory of the Shusha State Center for Vocational Education houses an assembly hall, a technical creativity area, workshops, a library including an electronic library, study and sleeping quarters, recreation and fitness rooms, and a catering facility.

It should be noted that one of the important directions of the state policy carried out under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev is the development of human capital and the formation of modern educational infrastructure. In recent years, hundreds of new school buildings have been constructed across the country, existing educational institutions have undergone major renovation and have also been equipped with the latest technological equipment. This has opened broad opportunities for providing the younger generation with quality education that meets high standards. In this context, the Shusha State Center for Vocational Education holds great significance. The center will become an important platform for training local qualified personnel and professional specialists who will take an active part in the reconstruction and development works underway in the region.
