Today, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Elnur Mammadov, U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Brendan Hanrahan, and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan launched the activities of the Trilateral Technical Planning Groups aimed at advancing the multimodal transit route — the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP).

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, this format, emphasizing the significance of the historic Peace Summit Declaration signed on August 8, 2025, with the mediation of U.S. President Donald Trump, brings together representatives from among officials and technical experts of the three countries to facilitate long-term stability, economic development, regional connectivity, and trade progress in the region and to work together.

"It is reported that the parties, having reaffirmed their commitment to joint obligations regarding the implementation of agreements on TRIPP, reached an agreement on the establishment at the first stage of two technical planning groups that will be responsible respectively for transport communication and electricity transmission.

These technical planning groups will become an important step toward resolving complex technical issues and transitioning to the next stages of project implementation, including its integration with other regional infrastructure.

The parties reaffirmed their respective commitments to the earliest possible implementation of all components of TRIPP," the statement said.
