Akif Alizade has been dismissed from his position

Director of the Institute of Geology, Academician Akif Alizade, has been relieved of his position.

The temporary execution of his duties has been assigned to Elchin Veliyev, who has been appointed as deputy director.

It should be noted that today the Director of the State Agency for Science and Higher Education, Ulker Sattarova, introduced E. Veliyev to the institute's staff.
