SOCAR and EGPC signed a cooperation agreement
The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) have signed a framework agreement defining the main areas of cooperation.

The signing ceremony took place within the framework of the 9th Egyptian International Energy Conference and Exhibition EGYPS 2026.
The event addressed issues of energy security, sustainable development, renewable energy sources, and the implementation of modern technologies.
SOCAR Deputy Vice President Vitaliy Beglyarbekov spoke at panel discussions, highlighting Azerbaijan's growing role in European energy security and the strategic importance of the Southern Gas Corridor.
