Budget surplus of Azerbaijan increased by 36%

The revenues of the state budget of Azerbaijan in January-May of this year amounted to 17 billion 138 million manats, and expenditures - 13 billion 691.8 million manats, which is 7.1% and 1.6% more respectively compared to the same period last year.

This was reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the State Statistics Committee.

Budget revenues were executed 3.9% above the forecast, and budget expenditures - 3.5% below the forecast.

As a result, for 5 months, the budget had a surplus of 3 billion 446.2 million manats, which is 36.05% more than a year ago.
