Zelensky made a new statement about the peace plan

Ukraine, together with Europe and the US, has prepared a basic set of documents needed to end the conflict with Russia. But there is still work to be done.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to "RBC-Ukraine," Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated this during a meeting with diplomats.

He emphasized that the main goal now is a just peace and the end of hostilities. Ukraine is doing everything to achieve victory through diplomatic means. This is necessary to save the lives of Ukrainian defenders, Zelensky said.

"A diplomatic process is underway. Now our team is returning from Miami. They will arrive at night, and in the morning there will be details. In my opinion, everything possible that we needed to do for the first drafts has already been done. There are 20 points in the plan. Probably not everything is perfect, but this plan exists," noted the President of Ukraine.

Also, according to him, there is a framework document on security guarantees between Ukraine, Europe, and the United States. There is also a separate bilateral document on security guarantees for Ukraine from the United States. It should be considered in the US Congress with some details and classified additions. The President of Ukraine did not disclose the details.

Zelensky pointed out that it is important for Ukraine to understand what the Ukrainian army can count on after signing such guarantees and how strong it can be. Separately, a first draft of an agreement on Ukraine's recovery was developed. This refers to the economic strategy.

"That is, in principle, the basic block of all documents, in my opinion, is ready. Basic. There are some things that we probably aren't ready for. There are things we are sure the Russians aren't ready for," Zelensky clarified. He reminded that American officials are currently negotiating with Russian officials. Feedback from the US is expected afterward.

Recall that as a result of negotiations between Ukraine and the US, the peace plan was reduced from 28 points to 20. Its content remains secret. Just last week, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky noted that there is no final version of the peace plan yet, as it has not been agreed upon.
