The United States understands that negotiations on resolving the Russian-Ukrainian conflict have reached a deadlock.
This was stated by US Vice President JD Vance, Reuters reports.
"We understand that the situation here has reached an impasse. And I think the president is going to say to Vladimir Putin: 'Listen, are you serious? Are you serious about this?'" Vance told reporters.
According to him, if Russia does not show interest in peace, then the United States will be forced to say "that this is not our war."
