The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) will not observe the ceasefire on May 9.

This was stated by advisor to the republic's Minister of Defense Serhiy Sternenko on his Telegram channel.

"The Russians violated the silence regime and carried out a series of attacks on Ukraine. These actions nullify the 'ceasefire' declared by [Vladimir] Putin for May 9," the Ukrainian official claims.
