Trump: The US will continue to strike Iran
The United States will continue to strike Iran, despite statements from the American side that it maintains contacts with representatives of the Islamic Republic.
This position was outlined by U.S. President Donald Trump during a meeting of his cabinet at the White House.
"Right now they have an opportunity, which is that Iran completely abandons its nuclear ambitions and charts a new path forward. We'll see if they want to do that. If not, we will be their worst nightmare. And in the meantime, we'll just keep blowing them up unimpeded, nothing will be able to stop us," he said.
"As far as Iran is concerned, we're just going to keep doing what we're doing," the American leader added.
