Trump: Russia does not plan to attack NATO countries

US President Donald Trump expressed confidence that Russia is not planning to attack NATO countries.

He said this while answering journalists' questions at the White House.

"I had good negotiations with him. He is not going to attack NATO territory," the American leader said, referring to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Trump did not specify whether CIA Director John Ratcliffe had told him this following his recent visit to Russia, but assured that Moscow does not intend to attack Alliance member states.
