Trump refused to reveal plans for negotiations with Iran

US President Donald Trump refused to say whether he plans to send a negotiating team to Pakistan or another country to make contact with Iran.

"I don't want to say that. I can't tell you about all of this. You want me to reveal my strategy?" Trump said in an interview with The New York Post.

Despite predictions of a swift end to the war, the publication notes, the American leader is leaving room for maneuver — thousands of troops have been deployed to the region, including two amphibious groups for possible ground operations.
