Trump ordered to accelerate weapons production in the US
US President Donald Trump ordered to accelerate weapons production in the country.
As reported by TASS, he made this statement at an annual fundraising event organized by the Republican Party's committee for elections to the House of Representatives of Congress.
Discussing the US military operation against Iran, Trump claimed that the United States possesses "the best weapons." "And, if you noticed, I said to produce them faster and in larger volumes, because we need all of it to be produced in America," he stated.
The Washington administration announced earlier this month that representatives of leading arms manufacturers, including BAE Systems, Boeing, Honeywell Aerospace, L3Harris Missile Solutions, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, and Raytheon, agreed to increase weapons production volumes fourfold.
